Your role

You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and supporting applications, ensuring stability and performance. The role involves incident resolution, change implementation, automation, and monitoring across technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Unix shell scripting, and containerised environments.

_In this role you will play a key role in:

Maintain and support applications, ensuring availability and adherence to SLAs.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents; perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes. Automate routine maintenance tasks using scripts and tools.
Apply changes and releases safely across Unix/Linux environments.
Set up monitoring and dashboards for proactive issue detection. Participate in extended hours/on-call support rotation when required.

Your profile

5-8 years in application maintenance or production support.
Strong skills in Java, Perl and Unix/Linux scripting.
Working knowledge of JavaScript for minor fixes or enhancements. Knowledge of C++ for legacy components and experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
Familiarity with Docker and container basics.
Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) and log analysis
Fluent in Finnish and English, both spoken and written.
