We are looking for a Marketing Automation Specialist who combines creativity with technical precision. The ideal candidate is not just an executor — but a thinker, someone who brings fresh ideas to the table and turns them into automated customer experiences that actually drive engagement, conversions, and retention.
As part of the marketing team at CAPEX.com, you’ll work across multiple brands in one of the most dynamic industries: online trading and fintech. You’ll design, build, and optimize automated customer journeys that enhance every stage of the user lifecycle — from onboarding to reactivation.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires both creative storytelling and analytical discipline. You’ll work closely with content writers, designers, product, and sales teams to craft data-driven journeys that make customers feel understood, supported, and inspired to act.
Location: Remote; ideally from Romania or Ukraine.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of marketing automation strategies across multiple brands and regions.
- Bring new ideas and creative automation concepts to improve engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
- Design and execute multichannel customer journeys using email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages.
- Propose and implement sub-segmented, personalized flows based on user behavior, intent, and lifecycle stages.
- Work closely with content and design teams to ensure campaigns are visually engaging and contextually relevant.
- Define both creative and technical requirements for campaigns, ensuring flawless execution.
- Continuously test, analyze, and optimize workflows for better performance (timing, message, channel mix, triggers).
- Use insights and data to recommend new flow ideas and content approaches.
- Maintain a focus on accuracy, deliverability, and compliance across all communication channels.
- Support the automation roadmap — ensuring that key campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and on strategy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in marketing automation or lifecycle marketing.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and implement creative automation ideas (e.g., onboarding, cross-sell, reactivation, loyalty flows).
- Experience with at least one major marketing automation platform (Optimove, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Customer.io, Eloqua, or similar).
- Solid analytical and reporting skills — ability to interpret data and translate insights into strategic improvements.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, triggers, tagging, and personalization logic.
- Working knowledge of HTML or visual email builders.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in idea generation and follow-through.
Nice to have:
- Experience in fintech, trading, or financial services.
- Knowledge of CRM integration and automation workflow tools like Make (Integromat), Zapier, or API triggers.
- Familiarity with multi-language and multi-brand automation management.
- Understanding of email deliverability, compliance, and A/B testing best practices.
- A creative mindset — able to identify new engagement opportunities and propose innovative campaign ideas.
