About The Role

We’re looking for a strategic and driven Marketing Manager to lead our brand and growth initiatives in the rapidly evolving Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) sector. Based in Burnaby, BC, this role offers a unique
opportunity to work at the intersection of aerospace, robotics, and data intelligence.
As our Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing integrated marketing strategies that elevate our brand, drive demand, and position our products as leaders in commercial, industrial, and defense applications. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and engineering teams to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment and has a deep understanding of B2B marketing, digital channels, and the nuances of the manufacturing and aerospace industries.
This is a fully remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Brand Growth: Develop and implement strategies for lead generation, brand awareness, and brand elevation to support sales growth and pipeline health. Demonstrated success in refreshing and revitalizing company branding to maintain relevance and competitiveness.
- Digital Strategy: Build and execute our digital media and content strategy in line with company objectives and marketing goals.
- Campaign Execution: Manage all digital advertising channel initiatives including SEO/SEM best practices, marketing database growth, email campaigns, and social media.
- Industry Engagement: Plan, coordinate, and execute tradeshow participation while maintaining strong relationships with key industry affiliations.
- Budget & Reporting: Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient spend, with weekly reporting aligned to strategy and ad spend.
- Performance & ROI: Create frameworks to measure campaign ROI, track performance, and optimize to exceed brand and growth KPIs.
Oversight of Content & Creative Production
- Direct Reports: Lead and mentor the marketing team to ensure consistent, high-quality creative output.
- Content Oversight: Guide and approve video and graphics production, storyboarding, website content, white papers, blog posts, and social media content to be aligned within branding protocol.
- Creative Development: Oversee campaign assets including landing pages, ads, copywriting, and supporting sales collateral (brochures, presentations, infographics, case studies).
- Content Strategy: Ensure all content aligns with brand messaging, resonates with target audiences, and supports the sales strategy.
Analytics & Optimization
- Collaborate with the Content Manager to optimize digital content performance across platforms.
- Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) to monitor website traffic, content engagement, and campaign performance.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to inform content and marketing strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, and customer service teams to integrate campaigns and maintain a unified brand voice.
- Align marketing programs with company branding and sales initiatives to maximize pipeline health and revenue growth.
- Stay updated on marketing and content trends to keep the company’s strategy innovative and competitive.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in marketing, sales, or communications, with managerial experience leading campaigns or teams.
- Knowledgeable in all facets marketing, branding, content social media and digital
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Skills & Competencies
- Data Analysis: Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Digital Marketing Tools: Expertise with Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, email platforms, and social media.
- Content Leadership: Skilled in video production, storyboarding, graphics, blogs, social posts, and white paper development.
- Leadership: Strategic planner, effective delegator, and mentor.
