About the Role

At CamoAg, we’re revolutionizing how agricultural land is understood, transacted, and managed. Our platform empowers landowners, brokers, and ag professionals with actionable insights powered by cutting-edge geospatial and data technologies. We’re looking for a Product Designer who thrives in fast-moving environments and cares deeply about the intersection of user experience, technology, and real-world impact. If you’re excited to build tools that bridge the digital and natural world—this is your opportunity. As a Product Designer, you’ll be the design voice in a deeply cross-functional team, collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to bring intuitive, high-impact features to life. From wireframes and workflows to polished UI, you’ll shape experiences that simplify complex data and deliver real value to users in the field and the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process for key areas of the platform: discovery, ideation, prototyping, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define features that solve real-world problems in agriculture and land management.
  • Lead user research initiatives, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to ground your work in user needs.
  • Craft clean, accessible, and responsive interfaces for web and mobile, with special focus on map-based interactions and field usability.
  • Design scalable components and contribute to a shared design system that reflects our brand and supports product consistency. Advocate for design best practices and user-first thinking throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Iterate on features post-launch based on usage analytics and feedback, always striving for clarity and delight.

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience designing products in agriculture, land tech, or data-rich environments.
  • Understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/React) or a design-to-dev handoff process.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and designing for performance on limited connectivity.
  • Interest in geospatial data, mapping libraries, and data visualization frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing software products, preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Portfolio showcasing thoughtful, user-centered design processes across mobile and web applications.
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.).
  • A strong grasp of UX principles, interaction design, and visual design fundamentals.
  • Comfort working closely with engineers—bonus if you’ve worked with component libraries or design tokens.
  • Experience with map interfaces, spatial data, or data visualization is a major plus.
  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills—you're equally comfortable giving and receiving feedback.

Wellness & Benefits

  • Mission-Driven Impact: Join a passionate team building technology that supports landowners and the future of agriculture.
  • Ownership & Growth: Contribute directly to product decisions and shape the future of our design practice.
  • Remote First: Work from anywhere, with optional team retreats and regular collaboration time.
  • Competitive salary + equity packages
  • Comprehensive health coverage and 401(k)
  • Unlimited PTO + generous holidays
  • Tools and resources for remote work success
