About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Specialist to own paid acquisition in Korea. This is a fully remote, individual contributor role with a high degree of autonomy — you will manage campaigns end-to-end, bring your own point of view on the market, and work closely with global teams to drive measurable growth.
This is the right role for someone who wants real ownership, not just execution.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing (Paid Media)
- Own and optimize paid campaigns across Google, Meta, Naver, and Kakao
- Monitor daily performance and optimize for CAC, ROAS, and overall marketing efficiency
- Test creatives, audiences, and placements in collaboration with the creative team
- Build and maintain campaign reports and creative performance analysis
- Contribute to budget planning and growth forecasting
- Stay on top of Korean platform updates, algorithm changes, and competitive activity
Collaboration & Market Insights
- Work cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, and Global Marketing teams to ensure campaigns are locally relevant
- Ensure campaigns are culturally relevant and localized for the Korean market
- Stay informed on market trends, platform updates, and competitive activity
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing / paid media
- Proven track record managing Google Ads and Meta campaigns with measurable results
- Hands-on experience with Korean platforms (Naver, Kakao)
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision making
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote, async environment
- Native Korean speaker with professional English proficiency
- Deep understanding of the Korean digital ads landscape
Nice to Have
- Experience in edtech, consumer apps, or subscription businesses
- Experience managing influencer campaigns
- Familiarity with attribution tools or analytics platforms (e.g. Appsflyer, Adjust, GA4)
