Role Overview

Highly skilled Data Science experts are needed to support a major research collaboration with one of the world’s leading AI labs. This role involves evaluating and developing AI agents by designing exploratory data analysis tasks, identifying patterns and trends in datasets, and producing gold-standard solutions to train and calibrate advanced AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated data analyses for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
• Execute statistical analyses and modeling across diverse datasets.
• Design prompts and rubrics for fine-grained reward modeling and evaluation.
• Produce gold-standard responses including Python notebooks, visualizations, and explanatory documentation.
• Translate data science reasoning and decision-making into clear, gradable criteria for AI evaluation.

Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• 2+ years of industry experience in a data science role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its data science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
• Solid background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and ML principles.
• Proven ability to identify patterns, associations, and trends in complex datasets.
• Excellent analytical writing skills to communicate insights clearly and concisely.

Project Timeline

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 5–6 weeks
• Commitment: ~20 hours/week, part-time, flexible
• Work Mode: Fully remote and asynchronous

Compensation & Contract

• Rate: $60–$110/hr, based on experience.
• Performance Bonus: $20–$50/hr incentive for top performers.
• Status: Independent contractor.
• Payment: Weekly via Stripe Connect.
