California Naturals is looking for a Senior Designer to help lead creative direction and execution across all brand channels, in collaboration with our Head of Marketing. The Senior Designer will balance visionary concepting with hands-on technical design execution—bringing fresh ideas and a strong POV while also diving in to create assets. This is for someone who is able to roll up their sleeves to design & concept everything from social posts to end caps at major retailers. This is a great opportunity for someone who is excited to touch all parts of the brand, loves fast-paced environments and hands-on design execution, as well as ideation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and refine California Naturals' creative strategy alongside the Head of Marketing, including visual identity, and brand guidelines to maintain consistency and excellence across all design and messaging.
- Support in executing day to day creative assets across all mediums—including digital, social, print, packaging, web PDPs, retail elements, OOH, experiential, and video—while ensuring a cohesive brand presence.
- Bring strong design execution skills and a strategic POV, elevating concepts with fresh thinking and thoughtful details that make ideas stronger and sharper.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop high-impact creative that supports product launches, brand campaigns, and retail initiatives.
- Lead the planning and production of brand photo and video shoots, working with internal teams and external partners to bring creative concepts to life.
- Oversee the creative production budget and ensure all projects are executed on time, on brand, and within scope.
Must-Haves:
- Must be able to design, create & update shelf-ready retail packaging files
- Must be expert in photoshop, illustrator & Figma
- Experience with retail signage/assets and working with retail partners a huge plus
The ideal candidate:
- Is an equally creative designer and strategic creative mind, with ~5-7 years of experience supporting brand design & vision
- Is ridiculously organized and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple high-impact projects at the same time
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where agility, collaboration, and strong creative problem-solving are key.
- Low Ego - must be adaptable and comfortable with feedback—comfortable iterating quickly, refining ideas, and adjusting designs as creative direction evolves, or through multiple rounds of revisions.
- Understands the value of scrappiness and resourcefulness in developing best-in-class creative
- Experience with retail signage/assets and working with retail partners
- Experience leading brand photo shoots is a plus
- Thinks outside the box - comes with fresh ideas and expands on existing
