🌟 The Role

As a UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the look and feel of our platform. You’ll work closely with the product, and R&D teams to deliver intuitive, scalable, and elegant user experiences that support Calice’s vision of data-driven agriculture. This position reports directly to the Head of Product.

This is a freelance role for the design and launch of NODES™ Starter v1.0.

After this initial phase, we’ll evaluate the possibility of continuing on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on company needs and mutual fit.

🔍 Responsibilities

·       Lead the design of user interfaces for NODES™, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

·       Translate user needs and product requirements into wireframes, mockups, and final designs.

·       Collaborate with developers to implement responsive and accessible design solutions.

·       Build and maintain our design system and style guidelines.

·       Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.

·       Proactively identify UX issues and opportunities to improve workflows.

·       Ensure consistency across all screens, components, and design interactions.

📚 Requirements

·       Degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

·       3+ years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products.

·       Strong portfolio showcasing web or SaaS interface designs.

·       Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

·       Experience collaborating with developers and product managers in agile teams.

·       Understanding of accessibility principles and responsive design.

·       Excellent attention to detail and sense of visual balance and hierarchy.

·       Strong communication skills and the ability to present and justify design decisions.

·       Ability to manage your own workload and adapt to a fast-changing startup environment.

·       Intermediate English proficiency.
