FSMA 204 Project Manager
Position Summary:
The FSMA 204 Project Manager will be responsible for leading and driving key initiatives to ensure compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Section 204. This role requires cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, and project execution to meet critical food safety compliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans to align with FSMA 204 compliance requirements.
- Coordinate across departments (e.g., Operations, FSQA, Merchandising) to implement traceability programs.
- Identify gaps and drive process improvements to meet tracking and reporting standards.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure accurate data collection and reporting on the Food Traceability List (FTL).
- Track project milestones, manage risks, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Support training initiatives to ensure key stakeholders understand FSMA 204 compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably in food safety, compliance, or supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of FSMA 204 regulations and traceability requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
Estimated Time Commitment:
- Full-time role (40+ hours per week).
- Must be able to accommodate supplier and internal stakeholder meetings across different time zones.
