C2N Diagnostics, a St. Louis based biotechnology company focused on commercializing high quality in vitro diagnostics for neurodegenerative conditions, is looking for a Director of Marketing. This critical role will oversee development of specific short and long-term marketing plans for C2N’s PRECIVITY line of blood tests that align with the company’s growth goals based upon insights derived from market research, competitive analysis and ongoing market trends within the US. This position offers the opportunity to shape the C2N’s marketing efforts while collaborating with executive leadership and external partners. This position is remote, but candidates located in the Midwest are preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Developing and proposing comprehensive marketing plan for assigned products to include product forecast, pricing, sales programs, selling collateral, and promotional activities
- Developing annual media, collateral, and promotional budget based on sales volume and market research data analysis
- Building the brand positioning, messaging and overall branding experience, working to maximize our marketing communications
- Partnering with Sales, Medical Affairs, Communications, Operations and Legal in order to effectively execute key commercial activities and achieve business goals for the PRECIVITY portfolio
- Leading a team of marketing professionals and help build, shape and coach both leadership and marketing competencies throughout
- Continually assessing competitive landscape and responding accordingly
- Understanding healthcare industry trends, competition, health economics, and customer insights
- Directing trade show activities to manage booth activities in coordination with Sales, Medical Affairs and Communications
- Owning the content development and maintenance for the PRECIVITY branded website(s)
- Managing agency partners and vendors, creation of marketing materials, materials reviews and budget adherence
- Driving development and approval of all marketing materials through the medical, regulatory, legal review process and integrate feedback accordingly to ensure compliant execution
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or life sciences; advanced degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience in either pharmaceutical or medical device industry required; additional experience in laboratory test industry preferred
- A minimum of 4 years of product management experience preferred
- Market analysis, communication, and clear understanding of FDA processes and regulations for product development and marketing
- Outstanding analytics skills and ability to understand technically complex concepts
- Strong communication and verbal and written skills
- Strong people management and development capabilities
- Demonstrated organizational leadership capabilities
- Launch experience strongly preferred
- Excellent leadership and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and stand for up to periods of four (4) hours
- Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds in an office environment
