Summary
Overview
The Senior Marketing Event Planner is a key member within the Event Marketing team and overall C1 Marketing organization. The position is responsible for overall strategy, budgeting, management, and execution of corporate events, tradeshows and regional events. The Senior Marketing Event Planner is responsible for developing marketing strategy, plans for each event and executing, working with cross-functional teams across the business. Marketing plans for each event include vision/ strategy, theme, cross-functional and leadership team alignment, event attendees, presenters, content strategy, budget management, working with production vendors, negotiating contracts, managing all logistical elements, identifying event success metrics and tracking lead generation and ROI.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Creates marketing strategies and plans for corporate events, tradeshows and/or regional events
Research event venues, negotiates, and finalizes contracts for each event
Develops conference and/or meeting budgets and financial projections/analysis for each event. Monitors these budgets and is responsible for adherence to each
Coordinates with cross-functional teams to develop event plans to drive awareness and demand for C1 solutions and services, including content strategy, presenters, messaging, etc. for each event
Coordinates all aspects of each event including promotion, catering requirements, audio-visual needs, meeting room set-up, lodging and post-conference evaluation. Research, negotiate and finalize vendor contracts for third party services.
Partners with marketing team members as well as colleagues from other departments to ensure successful execution of events including
Development of project timeline
Identification of target audience
Content creation for invites, confirmation/welcome kits, signage and other deliverables as needed
Registration process and onsite logistics
Supervises in the strategy, creative development, production, distribution and maintenance of all event materials
Coordinates and manages a debrief meeting for all events
Develops planning documents and recap reports upon project completion
Manages the development, production, negotiation and creation of premium items for events
Provides attendee list to the Digital team for lead nurturing and assignment
Tracks event key performance areas based on the business objectives and identifies items to improve for future events
Works with Event Marketing team to create annual event calendar

Pay Range
$75,000 - $95,000
Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
