Job Description

ByteCraft is looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer to craft exceptional user experiences and interfaces for our web-based applications. You’ll own the end-to-end design process—from discovery and research through prototyping, testing, and final UI—working closely with product, engineering, and visual design to deliver simple, elegant solutions to complex problems.

What you’ll do

  • Turn user and business needs into clear user journeys, information architecture, flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI.
  • Build interactive prototypes and run usability tests; iterate based on insights.
  • Collaborate daily with developers and product managers to scope, refine, and ship features.
  • Translate research findings into practical, user-centered design decisions.
  • Contribute to and uphold design systems, patterns, and accessibility best practices.
  • Champion the voice of the customer and ensure a seamless, intuitive product experience.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3–6 years’ experience designing UI/UX for digital products (web and/or mobile).

Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Overflow for flows and documentation.
  • Strength in turning complex requirements into simple, usable designs.
  • Experience with user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) and translating insights into design solutions.
  • Solid grasp of information architecture and content strategy fundamentals.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Clear, confident communicator with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable working closely with visual designers, product managers, and developers.
  • Flexible, decisive, and consistently focused on customer needs.

Leadership & Problem-Solving

  • Ability to lead large or complex design initiatives end-to-end.
  • Skilled at defining, prioritizing, and sequencing problems to tackle for maximum impact.
