The Role:
We need a Marketing Director who is truly a "Jack or Jill of All Trades" - someone who can lead high-level strategy, roll up their sleeves to execute campaigns, manage outside resources, and wear multiple marketing hats at once. From digital marketing to brand development, webinar delivery to content creation, you’ll be the one driving growth and elevating our marketing efforts in the B2B bank and credit union sector.
This is a hands-on role with high impact. You’ll be involved in every aspect of marketing, from ideation to execution, collaborating closely with sales, product, and leadership to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with sales and other senior leadership to develop a comprehensive measurable and actionable marketing strategy and plan.
- Lead execution of the strategy and plan with Hands-On Campaign Management: Design, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across various channels—digital, print, and more—to generate leads and elevate brand awareness.
- Lead Generation & Nurturing: Develop strategies to identify, capture, and nurture high-quality B2B leads. Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment and optimize the funnel.
- Market Research: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor activity to continuously adapt strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on marketing experience in the B2B financial services space, with a demonstrated ability to execute and lead across multiple channels.
- Versatility: Comfortable jumping between strategy, execution, content creation, and campaign analysis.
- Proven Results: A track record of successful campaigns, especially in driving lead generation, brand recognition, and measurable growth.
- Creative & Analytical: A perfect balance of creativity and data-driven decision-making. You can craft compelling narratives while analyzing performance metrics.
- Self-Starter Mentality: You’re comfortable taking ownership, working independently from home, and juggling multiple projects at once.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiar with marketing automation tools, Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and social media platforms.
- Financial Services Knowledge: Deep understanding of the B2B financial services landscape, including products, regulations, and target audiences.
- Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can translate complex financial concepts into simple, persuasive marketing messages.
