About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, PHP to join our growing engineering team. This is a critical role focused on building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using PHP and Laravel. While the core focus is backend development, the ideal candidate will bring full-stack capabilities, with experience in React and TypeScript considered a strong plus.

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment—a self-starter who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and consistently drives projects forward. You’ll work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver meaningful impact and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems using PHP and Laravel.
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions across the stack.
• Collaborate with frontend developers; experience with React and TypeScript is a plus.
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code, following best practices.
• Communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, translating technical ideas into business value.
• Take initiative and drive projects from ideation to delivery with minimal oversight.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and team discussions to raise the bar across the team.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in PHP, with strong proficiency in Laravel.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, databases, and backend architecture.
• Full-stack development experience preferred; React and TypeScript are a plus.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead initiatives end-to-end.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in an agile environment with fast-moving priorities.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
