Job Summary
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to help design, build, and launch the future of in-person and virtual healthcare by creating seamless, user-centric digital healthcare experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong UI/UX design skills, experience with healthcare or consumer retail applications, and the ability to conduct user research and develop wireframes and clickable prototypes. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, including patients, nurses, doctors, schedulers, and billers, as well as developers, to ensure the final design aligns with both user needs and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
UI Design: Design intuitive and visually appealing user interface elements tailored to healthcare applications and web experiences.
UX Design: Create user flows that ensure usability and accessibility of design across various devices and platforms, ensuring a seamless provider and patient experience.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to visualize and communicate design concepts using Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Conceptual Design:
Storyboarding to visualize user interactions and journeys.
Process flows to map out user tasks efficiently.
Site maps to outline application structure and navigation.
Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement streamlined processes to enhance user experience.
User Research: Conduct in-depth online and in-person research, including surveys, interviews, and analytics, to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors.
User Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback through A/B testing, surveys, and usability studies to iterate and improve design solutions.
Fragmented Applications: Integrate and streamline fragmented healthcare applications such as patient mobile apps, portals, EMRs, virtual visit apps, and billing systems into a cohesive, user-friendly experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure designs are executed as intended.
Motion Design (Valuable Asset): Develop animations and transitions to enhance user experience by creating engaging and dynamic interfaces.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human-computer interaction, UX/UI design, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum five years of UI/UX design experience, preferably within healthcare settings or consumer retail applications that bridge digital experiences with in-person interactions.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of UI design principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience with user-centered design methodologies and iterative design processes.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in design execution.
Ability to apply corporate branding and style guides to digital applications.
Experience working with fragmented applications or multi-platform designs.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work cross-functionally with developers and product managers to ensure designs are executed as intended.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
