Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to join the portfolio operations team in a remote capacity for a 6-month consulting engagement. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of experience managing complex technology initiatives in healthcare environments and excels at bridging technical and business stakeholders. This role focuses on managing data analytics, workflow automation, cloud, and integration initiatives across multiple healthcare provider platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management & Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for technology initiatives across multiple portfolio entities at various stages of growth. Ensure alignment with business objectives, operational priorities, and investment goals.
- Project Tracking & Delivery: Oversee quarterly, monthly, and bi-weekly deliverables, managing timelines, milestones, tasks, resources, and dependencies across concurrent initiatives. Maintain technical roadmaps, resourcing forecasts, and operating plans to support successful execution.
- Technology & Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and external technology vendors on initiatives including dashboard visualization development, outsourced analytics partnerships, cloud migration projects (e.g., Azure/Databricks), EMR integrations, and data pipeline processes.
- Risk Management & Continuous Improvement: Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact delivery. Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and ensure consistent execution standards across portfolio entities.
- Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Serve as the bridge between clinical, operational, technical, and executive stakeholders, translating technical concepts into business context and ensuring accountability across matrixed teams.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 8–12 years of experience in technical program management, product management, or related roles, preferably within healthcare, private equity, or consulting environments.
- Skills: Strong understanding of data analytics, dashboard development, data governance, and cloud-based data platforms. Proven ability to manage multiple technology initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high quality standards.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools; experience managing technical roadmaps, resource plans, and cross-functional delivery.
- Healthcare Systems: Experience working with healthcare technology systems such as EMR/EHR platforms and related data integrations.
- Other: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to hold stakeholders accountable and drive results in fast-paced, dynamic, and matrixed environments.
