Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer (UI/UX) who is passionate about cognitive simplicity and designing high-impact B2B SaaS experiences. This contract role (20–40 hours per week for 3+ months) will focus on building a unified “Command Center” interface that allows users to manage complex technical ecosystems through clear, action-oriented design.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and has a proven track record designing complex enterprise platforms, data-heavy dashboards, and automation workflows. This role will partner closely with engineering and subject matter experts to transform intricate technical logic into elegant, scalable product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
5+ years of UI/UX or Product Design experience
Experience designing B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or complex data-driven applications
Proven experience simplifying complex systems into intuitive workflows
Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Figma (Components, Variables, Auto-Layout)
Experience with prototyping and logic/state mapping tools (e.g., Miro)
Experience designing data-heavy dashboards, workflow editors, or automation builders
Strong understanding of technical constraints (APIs, JSON schemas, system logic)
Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and familiarity with Node.js and Vue.js environments
Ability to design within engineering feasibility constraints
Strong executive and cross-functional communication skills
Certifications: Not required.
Other:
Portfolio required (must demonstrate simplification case studies showing complex “before” to streamlined “after”)
Ability to defend design decisions using data and logical reasoning
Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced product transformation environments
