Job Title:Lead Data Scientist, Omnichannel Analytics

Location:Remote (with in office flexibility from select states)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead, Omnichannel Analytics to join our commercial insights team. This role will be responsible for providing advanced analytics and strategic recommendations that guide omnichannel marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in analytics and machine learning, paired with strong communication skills to influence business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Next Best Action initiative , including developing predictive models and evaluating the performance of omnichannel promotional campaigns.
  • Deliver insights and strategic guidance to brand, marketing, and omnichannel operations teams to maximize engagement and ROI.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders during campaign planning to define measurable objectives, ensure data capture, and maintain integrity of reporting.
  • Build and deploy machine learning models that enable personalized recommendations and targeted marketing across digital and personal channels.
  • Consolidate data from multiple sources to create a unified view of customer activity and promotional effectiveness.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure reliability of reporting and analysis.
  • Develop key performance metrics and reporting frameworks to assess the success of omnichannel initiatives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovative approaches to analytics and apply them to enhance campaign measurement and targeting strategies.
  • Oversee third-party vendors where needed, ensuring deliverables are high quality and aligned with expectations.

Requirements

  • Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

  • Experience:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in analytics or data science, with significant exposure to omnichannel marketing or customer analytics.

  • Demonstrated success managing projects of increasing complexity and impact.

  • Skills:

  • Advanced programming skills in SQL, R, and/or Python.

  • Proficiency with machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.

  • Familiarity with omnichannel data sources such as web traffic, impressions, clickstream, and digital engagement metrics.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.

  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Tools/Certifications: Hands-on experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

  • Other:

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Strong problem-solving ability and initiative in identifying opportunities for optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or broader healthcare industry.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data sources, including patient-level and claims data.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, competitive intelligence, or other commercial insights disciplines.
  • Exposure to visualization tools such as QlikView or QlikSense.
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Experience working with international colleagues or global project teams.
