We are looking for a talented and highly experienced Senior Accounts & Marketing Executive to join our team and drive both our internal marketing efforts and those of our clients to new heights.
The right candidate must have at least 5 years experience in a marketing position at an agency. Without this, the application will not be considered.
The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns, creating compelling content strategies, and driving engagement across various platforms. Critical, first-principles thinking is a must, crafted and executing on innovative marketing campaigns, and ensuring the Burst Digital name is synonymous with exceptional marketing. We never settle for “good enough”, or “great” - we want perfect, innovative, and highly performant marketing.
Our perfect candidate needs to be a self-starter, able to create and execute strategies with little to no input from the rest of the team. Experience and interest in AI is a must, even if only a keen interest and excitement to learn - AI will define the future of marketing, and we won’t be left behind.
We are looking for a forward thinker to deal directly with our marketing clients, support our Head of Marketing to bring Burst Digital and our client into the next stage of growth.
You must be adept with digital marketing execution, knowing the nuances of different forms of paid advertising, SEO, CRO, PR, and all other areas of digital marketing. You must have experience executing campaigns across the board, including setting up the adverts, working with creative to ensure top quality content, and writing client reports.
You must be exception, with a keen eye for improvement and an inability to settle. The right candidate will always be looking for more opportunities to be innovative and improve.
What you'll be doing:
- Campaign Ideation: Generate innovative ideas for marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience and align with the brand's values.
- Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies to successfully launch products and services.
- Marketing Analysis & Recommendations: Conduct thorough marketing analysis, creating detailed marketing reports with in-depth analysis, working with large budgets and directing growing resources, to provide actionable recommendations.
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions. The strategy must be approached holistically, ensuring a natural, cohesive flow across all touchpoints for a unified and impactful brand experience.
- Copywriting: Craft engaging and persuasive content for a variety of channels including social media, newsletters, and more. Ensure all copy is optimised for SEO, incorporates strong CTAs, and strategically integrates key campaign drivers to maximize engagement and conversion.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage client relationships: Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and campaigns are aligned with their business goals.
- Develop and oversee paid ads campaigns: Strategise, manage, and optimise paid ad campaigns on Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok, Google, and all other platforms, ensuring client KPIs are exceeded, ensuring ads are targeted and effective.
- Email marketing execution: Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns, working with internal design and content teams to develop visually appealing and high-converting email templates.
- Collaborate on creative development: Work closely with design teams to ensure marketing materials, ads, and email templates align with both brand guidelines and performance goals.
- Monitor and report performance: Track campaign performance across all channels, providing clients with detailed reporting and actionable insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Updating and managing client projects, updating Monday.com, requesting and staying on top of team members to ensure timely delivery.
- Stay up to date: Keep abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and marketing best practices to continually enhance campaign performance and innovate for our clients.
- AI integration and research: Consider how we can implement innovative technologies in our marketing execution. A key part of your role will be finding opportunities for us to implement AI tooling, and overseeing their application into the workflow.
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within a marketing role at an agency. If you aren’t able to prove this, your application will not be considered. References will be required.
- An analytical mind balanced with a keen creative eye. You are always asking “how can this be better”, instead of “is this good”.
- A keen interest in AI technologies.
- Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in managing paid advertising campaigns, from concept through execution and optimisation. This includes the granular details such as strategic targeting (choosing the audience for highest impact), as well as higher level strategy creation.
- Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot) and an understanding of audience segmentation, automation, and conversion tracking.
- Ability to interpret data and metrics to refine campaigns and drive performance improvements.
- Startup Environment Adaptability: Enjoyment of a fast-paced, high-intensity startup environment, with the ability to adapt quickly and drive growth and development.
- Platform Proficiency: Experience with marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, Monday.com, Agency Analytics, CRMs, social media management tools, and email marketing software.
- A Passion for Data: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Creativity: A creative touch that enhances campaign effectiveness and brand impact.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all marketing materials and strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: Excellent marketing strategist with experience across all major digital marketing channels.
- Copywriting and design ability with a strong eye for detail, creativity, and the capability to deliver compelling, on-brand content across various digital platforms.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
