Creative Designer (Video & Graphic - Social, Paid Paid Ads, OOH)

We’re looking for a Creative Designer with a strong foundation in social-first content, video editing, and paid ad design. You’ll be more than a designer—you’ll be part of the strategic and creative process from day one, shaping campaigns through research, insights, and concept development.
While your core strengths will lie in social content and ad creatives, you’ll also have the versatility to design for OOH, email, event branding, and other marketing touchpoints as needed. This is a chance to work on everything from scroll-stopping TikToks and Instagram reels to integrated go-to-market campaigns that include billboards, posters, PR, and more.
What You’ll Be DoingSocial & Paid Ads (Core)
- Design social-first content (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) that drives engagement and performance.
- Create high-performing paid ad creatives across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google Ads.
- Edit and produce short-form videos and reels with strong narrative flow, captions, and motion elements.
- Collaborate with marketing strategists to align creative work with audience insights and campaign goals.
Strategy, Research & Concept Development
- Take part in discovery sessions, research, and competitor audits to inform creative strategy.
- Contribute to long-term campaign strategies and help shape big-picture creative concepts.
- Pitch and present ideas confidently to both internal teams and clients.
Bonus Creative Touchpoints
- Support OOH and print campaigns (billboards, posters, event visuals).
- Design for email marketing, PR campaigns, and other brand assets as part of integrated campaigns.
- Adapt creative for multi-channel rollouts, ensuring brand consistency.
AI-Enhanced Design
- Use AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, Runway, etc.) to speed up iterations, explore variations, and enhance workflows.
- Share insights with the team and help evolve Burst’s AI-first design practice.
What You Bring
- 3–5+ years of design experience (agency or in-house), with a focus on social media and paid ads.
- A portfolio showcasing:
- Social design & video editing (Instagram reels, TikTok, LinkedIn campaigns).
- Paid ad creatives optimised for multiple platforms.
- Bonus: OOH, email, or multi-channel campaigns.
- Strong skills in Adobe CC, Figma, and at least one video editing suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Proven ability to connect creative ideas to strategy and KPIs.
- Curiosity and hands-on experience with AI design tools.
- Strong communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
Bonus points for: motion graphics/animation, brand identity work, or experience across OOH and integrated campaigns.
