Project Overview & Role Purpose

The team are hiring a Staff Software Engineer to drive and support the delivery of a new B2B credit card product. Long term, the goal is to build all of the functionality in-house including the payments ledger. For this reason, they need someone with knowledge of distributed ledger technology and general payments architecture and authorisation workflows.

Requirements

• Experienced hands on software engineer proficient in an object-oriented programming language, ideally Python.
• Experience with knowledge in areas (but not all) of payment infrastructure, financial ledgers, DLT, Credit Cards,
• Ability to mentor, and grow a small group of talented engineers, and improve engineering standards across the wider organisation.
• Experience designing and building highly available, low-latency payments/transactional systems
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language, ideally Python.
