About the Role
Burlington Consult's clients are Nigerian doctors, engineers, researchers, and professionals building careers across the US, UK, and Canada. They are hard to reach, skeptical of generic advertising, and responsive to credibility. Finding them, earning their trust, and converting that trust into a client relationship is the Growth Strategist's mandate.
This role sits at the intersection of content, performance, and partnerships. You will own the full acquisition funnel — from organic reach to paid channels to referral networks. You will produce content that signals expertise, not just visibility, and you will build the distribution infrastructure to get it in front of the right people.
What Success Looks Like
- Qualified leads are entering the pipeline at a consistent and increasing rate
- Content positions Burlington as the authoritative voice on EB-1A and NIW strategy in professional and diaspora communities
- Paid acquisition channels deliver measurable return
- Partnership referral pipelines — law firms, universities, professional associations, employers — are active and converting
- The brand is recognizable and trusted in the communities Burlington serves
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Burlington's content strategy across LinkedIn, Instagram, email, and emerging platforms
- Write and edit long-form and short-form content — case studies, explainers, newsletters, social posts — that demonstrate real subject matter depth
- Build and manage paid acquisition campaigns across Meta and LinkedIn
- Identify and develop partnership channels: professional associations, diaspora networks, law firm referrals, employers sponsoring immigrant workers
- Own SEO strategy and execution for Burlington's web presence
- Track and report on acquisition metrics; make data-driven decisions on channel investment
- Develop co-marketing proposals and execute partnership campaigns with aligned organizations
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience growing a professional services brand or B2C product in a trust-dependent category
- Strong writing ability — this is non-negotiable; you will be assessed on it
- Comfort with paid acquisition platforms and a working knowledge of performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV)
- Understanding of the Nigerian professional diaspora and the channels through which they consume information is a significant advantage
- Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, or equivalent) and email marketing platforms
- Ability to operate independently without a creative team supporting you
