Senior UX/UI Designer

OVERVIEW

Bullshark is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing technology unit. You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end design process for products spanning web, mobile, and custom software—including enterprise-level platforms, SaaS applications, and consumer-facing experiences.

This role blends strategic problem-solving with hands-on design execution, ideal for someone who thrives on transforming complex business challenges into intuitive, high-performing digital products.

You’ll collaborate closely with developers, product strategists, and business stakeholders to ensure every solution we deliver is user-centric, data-informed, and visually world-class.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid thinker—both creative and analytical—able to translate insights, requirements, and research into elegant, functional, and scalable design systems.

ROLE DETAILS

• Role Type: Full Time
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 CET/CEST

RESPONSIBILITIES

(1) User-Centered Design & Strategy

• Analyze technical and business requirements to design seamless, user-first digital experiences.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
• Conduct heuristic reviews and usability audits, recommending improvements based on user behavior and data.
• Translate research and analytics into actionable insights that guide design and product direction.

(2) Design Execution & System Ownership

• Own and maintain Figma design systems, ensuring scalable, component-based architecture across multiple projects.
• Deliver visually consistent, responsive, and high-performance designs across all platforms and breakpoints.
• Work closely with developers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation of UI components and interactions.
• Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback and behavioral insights.

(3) Strategic & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Lead UX and UI discussions with clients, presenting user flows, design concepts, and prototypes.
• Partner with strategists, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment between product vision, design, and functionality.
• Act as a design lead within cross-functional squads, mentoring junior designers and providing creative direction.
• Translate business and user requirements into measurable UX goals and KPIs.

(4) Process Optimization & Innovation

• Continuously improve Bullshark’s UX/UI processes, tools, and documentation standards.
• Champion accessibility, responsiveness, and performance optimization in all digital products.
• Implement data-driven decision-making through tools such as heatmaps, A/B testing, and analytics.
• Introduce and evangelize design thinking methodologies to drive innovation across teams.

(5) Design Leadership & Mentorship

• Guide other designers through structured feedback, reviews, and collaboration.
• Establish and maintain Bullshark’s visual and interaction design standards.
• Support the development of Bullshark’s internal design culture through knowledge-sharing and best practices.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

(1) Core Technical Skills

• UX/UI Expertise: Proven experience in user-centered design, usability testing, and design systems management.
• Figma Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, variables, and prototyping.
• Design Systems: Ability to build and maintain scalable component systems that streamline multi-product delivery.
• Interaction Design: Understanding of motion, transitions, and micro-interactions that enhance usability and delight.
• Collaboration Tools: Experience with ClickUp, Jira, or similar project management platforms.
• Accessibility: Working knowledge of WCAG guidelines and inclusive design principles.

(2) Strategic & Analytical Skills

• Ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes and product metrics.
• Strong understanding of UX research methods, including usability testing, surveys, and data analysis.
• Experience working with data visualization, complex workflows, and enterprise UX challenges.
• Comfort working alongside developers and product managers to bridge design and technology.

(3) Communication & Leadership Skills

Excellent ability to present design rationale and guide client conversations with confidence.

Proven experience mentoring designers or leading creative workstreams.

Strong command of the English language (written and spoken).

(4) Nice to Have

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.

• Experience designing for SaaS, enterprise, or B2B platforms.
• Understanding of AI and automation-driven UX solutions.
• Experience with advanced UX analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Maze, Google Analytics).
