Building Brands Marketing is a full-service marketing agency specializing in website development, SEO, and digital marketing strategies that help local businesses grow. We’re hiring a Website and SEO Specialist, focusing on WordPress & Elementor. This job involves a mix of client interaction, website development, On-site SEO, and troubleshooting technical issues.
About 35% of your time will be spent meeting with clients. You’ll help with full websites, landing pages, content writing, SEO fixes, and sometimes PPC and tracking setup (based on your experience). You'll be the go-to person for both clients and team members when it comes to websites and SEO.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, give strategic recommendations, and guide web-related decisions during meetings, feedback reviews, or troubleshooting sessions
- Plan and structure new websites, including information architecture, content strategy, and overall UX recommendations
- Write website and landing page copy using proven frameworks, best practices, and SEO principles
- Use internal systems and processes to prepare projects for development, guiding the build from content entry through QA and launch
- Review website design and functionality with a critical eye and provide feedback to developers or designers based on user experience, visual appeal, and brand alignment
- Handle landing page projects for PPC campaigns, including content planning, copywriting, and either building in-house or coordinating development
- Execute ongoing SEO work such as keyword research, meta tag optimization, on-site SEO audits, internal linking strategies, and content optimization
- Work with the SEO team to support client campaigns and communicate technical or strategic needs across departments
- Troubleshoot common technical issues including plugin conflicts, slow site performance, broken layouts, DNS/domain problems, SSL certificates, email setup, and WordPress functionality
- Assist with tracking setup, Google Tag Manager, or attribution strategy where needed, based on your experience
- Document your work clearly, follow existing processes, and suggest improvements to help the team work more efficiently over time
- Escalate complex technical issues when needed, but take initiative to understand and grow your skills in these areas
Who You Are
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in websites, SEO, or digital marketing, ideally in an agency or client-facing environment
- Confident working across new builds, maintenance updates, landing page strategy, and technical SEO
- Strong understanding of UX and layout design best practices—you’re not a designer, but you know what good looks like and can guide others toward it
- Proficient with WordPress, Elementor or similar page builders, and familiar with DNS, hosting environments, caching, plugins, and site performance tools
- Comfortable writing conversion-oriented website and landing page copy
- Familiar with SEO tools and tactics including Google Search Console, meta tags, H1/H2 structure, internal linking, keyword mapping, and content briefs
- Strong communicator who can confidently interface with clients, break down technical topics, and collaborate across multiple departments
- Bonus points for experience with Google Ads, PPC strategy, or marketing analytics
- Naturally curious, eager to learn, and resourceful when facing a challenge
