Buildcorp is a national multi-disciplinary construction business with a 35+ year track record across new build, fitout and refurbishment, and remedial works. Our Queensland team — based in South Brisbane — is growing fast, with a pipeline that spans social and affordable housing, health, education and CBD commercial. As a result of the growth across our New Build portfolio, we are looking for a Project Manager that has the experience and track record to successfully lead the delivery of a $50m project that will set the standard through to handover.

About the role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will own commercial and program outcomes end-to-end. You will lead a dedicated project team (Site Manager, Project Engineer, Contracts Administrator), interface with the client and design team, and be the public face of the project for Buildcorp.

What You Will Do

• Drive program, cost, quality and safety across all phases of delivery.
• Lead head contract administration, subcontractor management, and client reporting.
• Chair client and design meetings; manage stakeholder expectations through delivery.
• Coach and develop the project team — PE, CA, Site team — and contribute to BU capability.
• Identify and convert opportunities to enhance margin through clever procurement and program management.

Desired Skills And Experience

What we are looking for

• 8+ years in commercial construction, with 3+ delivering as the lead PM on $30m+ projects.
• Experience with social housing, multi-residential, or DDA-aligned design highly desirable.
• Strong head contract literacy (ABIC, AS4000, or government head-contract suites).
• Demonstrated commercial outcomes — margin protection and growth on prior projects.
• Bachelor in Construction Management / Eng / equivalent. QBCC licence preferred.
