About the Company

I’m currently supporting a fast-growing global visual AI startup that is looking to hire their 1st Marketing Manager to lead and scale their Japan marketing efforts. The company provides an end-to-end MLOps and DataOps platform supporting the full AI lifecycle from data collection and preparation, as well as to model training, deployment, and monitoring. Their core strength is in computer vision AI, supporting enterprise use cases such as video analytics, object detection, and defect detection for major global companies across manufacturing and mobility industries. The company has recently raised Series C funding and is now entering an exciting growth phase as they prepare for IPO.

About the Role

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have a direct impact on business growth while working in a highly international environment.

Responsibilities

• Own Japan marketing strategy end-to-end (planning, implementation, execution, etc.)
• Lead demand generation through field and event marketing initiatives
• Work directly with Japan leadership and collaborate closely with global teams in Korea and the US

Required Skills

• Bilingual Japanese & English (Korean is a plus)
• Experience in hands-on B2B marketing / demand generation
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment as the sole local marketer

Preferred Skills

• Experience in B2B marketing / demand generation ideally within the manufacturing, automotive or heavy industry space (but flexible)
