SDE-1 Software Engineer Front-end WFH for Amazon

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using advanced TypeScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions.
• Implement best practices in software architecture, code quality, testing, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to an agile development environment to ensure continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to meet evolving business requirements.
• Maintain effective communication in a fully remote setup, ensuring project alignment, and meeting tight deadlines.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer with a strong focus on TypeScript development.
• Solid understanding of front-end and back-end integration, with hands-on experience in Node.js and popular frameworks.
• Strong expertise in design patterns, code refactoring, and test-driven development practices.
• Good to have Java should know how to write tests, JUNIT
• Experience working in agile teams and managing projects in a remote work environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs.

Preferred

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines to support robust development workflows.
• Experience with additional technologies such as React and modern JavaScript libraries.
• Previous exposure working with distributed systems and scalable microservices architectures.
