About the opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quant Developer to join our trading system development team. You will play a critical role in building, optimising, and maintaining a high-performance, low-latency trading system. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and make a direct impact on trading strategies and operations.

Responsibilities

Maintain low-latency, high-performance trading systems and applications using Java.
Implement real-time data processing, trade execution, and order routing modules.
Collaborate with traders and other developers to integrate trading strategies into the platform.
Optimise application performance and conduct thorough testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
Monitor and maintain production systems, ensuring uptime and performance.

Requirements

An interest in crypto markets and systematic trading.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Java development.
Experience in real-time systems or financial/trading environments.
Understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and low-latency system design.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

Experience working on crypto trading systems.
Knowledge of crypto market instruments, such as perpetual futures.
Familiarity with cloud platforms.
Exposure to market data feeds and trading APIs.
Knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL.
Experience in other scripting languages, like Python, for backtesting or tooling.
Understanding of risk management in trading systems.
