Senior Klaviyo Lifecycle Marketing Manager

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Klaviyo Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join a growing marketing team and take ownership of email marketing strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting. This is a hands-on role for someone with extensive Klaviyo experience who can build revenue-generating email programs, nurture customers, and improve retention.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Eastern Time (40 work hours per week, 1 hour unpaid break)

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Campaigns: Develop comprehensive email strategies; manage full campaign lifecycles (promotional, educational, transactional, retention); build and deploy recurring and one-time emails in Klaviyo.
• Automation & Flows: Serve as the primary Klaviyo expert; build and optimize key flows (Welcome, Abandoned Cart, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase, Win-Back, Re-Engagement, VIP, Back-in-Stock); set up conditional logic, triggers, and dynamic content.
• Segmentation & Personalization: Build targeted customer segments using behavioral, demographic, and transactional data; implement personalized messaging strategies for different customer stages.
• Content & Creative Coordination: Write clear, persuasive subject lines and email copy; collaborate with creative teams to optimize layouts for desktop and mobile.
• Testing, Analytics & Deliverability: Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, messaging, and timing; track key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion rates, revenue per recipient); maintain sender reputation, list hygiene, and subscription compliance.
• Technical Integration & Operations: Ensure proper data flow between Klaviyo and e-commerce platforms; document SOPs, create repeatable workflows, and QA all campaigns prior to launch.

Requirements

• Required: 4+ years of professional email marketing experience with extensive hands-on Klaviyo expertise; strong background in lifecycle/retention marketing, A/B testing, segmentation, deliverability, and copywriting; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business preferred.
• Highly Preferred: 5+ years of Klaviyo experience in e-commerce/DTC environments; proficiency with Klaviyo SMS, predictive analytics, Shopify integrations, and HTML/CSS troubleshooting; Klaviyo certification is a plus.
