Senior Graphic Designer (Electronic Direct Mail)

Overview

Our client is seeking a creative lead to head an exciting new EDM program, transforming static email marketing into dynamic campaigns. You will own the entire creative process from brief to delivery, collaborating with Australian creative teams and offshore developers to produce high-impact designs for the property marketing sector.

Monthly Rate:

• Equivalent of USD 943/month in the applicant's local currency

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM AEST, with a 30-minute paid break (40 work hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Create and customize electronic direct mail (EDM) designs using Adobe Creative Suite
• Manage client communication and brief intake process via email correspondence
• Transform client requirements into compelling EDM designs using established templates
• Coordinate approval workflows directly with clients through email
• Package completed designs and coordinate handoffs to the development team via Trello
• Maintain brand consistency and typography standards across all deliverables
• Collaborate with the offshore development team for seamless HTML EDM conversion
• Ensure quick turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards
• Work within established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proven experience with EDM/email marketing design and best practices
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, and brand consistency principles
• Excellent written communication skills for direct client interaction
• Experience with template-based design systems and workflows
• Experience with Trello or similar project management tools is a plus
• Familiarity with Slack for team communication
• Experience working with development teams on HTML email conversion is a plus

• This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits. Professional hourly fees are established based on your performance in the application process.
