Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive Business Development & Marketing Specialist to drive patient referrals, generate new business opportunities, and build strategic partnerships for a growing healthcare practice. This role combines outreach, relationship management, and marketing initiatives across B2C, B2B, and B2G channels while collaborating closely with the social media team and practice leadership. Ideal candidates are strategic, personable, and experienced in healthcare or service-based business growth.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm EST

Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business acquisition through proactive outreach to healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
  • Nurture and convert existing lead lists while continuously identifying and qualifying new referral opportunities
  • Represent the practice at online networking events and build strategic partnerships to increase patient referrals
  • Develop marketing content for social media platforms and coordinate with the social media team for timely posting
  • Manage and execute B2C, B2B, and B2G marketing initiatives to diversify revenue streams
  • Propose and implement growth strategies that align with the practice's brand values and long-term objectives

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing within a healthcare or service-based industry
  • Strong verbal communication skills with clear, professional English suitable for client-facing interactions
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute business growth plans independently
  • Personable, empathetic demeanor with a genuine passion for working with people
  • High level of professionalism and brand awareness when representing the organization
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards is a strong plus

Scope:

  • Full-time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time
  • Work across B2C, B2B, and B2G channels to generate revenue and referrals
  • Collaborate with existing virtual assistants and the social media team to streamline marketing efforts
  • Potential to grow into a team lead role managing additional virtual assistants as the practice scales
  • Report directly to the practice owner on strategy, results, and new growth opportunities
