Job Role Summary/Overview
We are seeking a highly intelligent, proactive, and motivated Operations and Marketing Manager to join our team. You will play a critical role in bridging operations, marketing, sales, and customer service while overseeing task management and implementation across the business. You must be an excellent communicator, a natural leader, and committed to seeing projects through to successful completion.
Job Highlights
- Hourly Rate: USD 10.33, the equivalent in your local currency
- Paid Hours per Week: 40
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Sydney, Australia time
- Work Arrangement: Work from home
- Contract: Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
Task and Team Management
- Manage your own workload and oversee the daily tasks of other team members.
- Break down larger projects into actionable tasks, assign responsibilities, and ensure 100% completion.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and provide feedback to team members.
Marketing and Sales Support
- Understand and optimize the flow between marketing initiatives (website, videos, campaigns) and the sales process.
- Collaborate on marketing content, and when needed, step into a customer-facing sales support role during staff shortages.
Project Execution and Documentation
- Develop and document detailed plans, implementation steps, and review processes.
- Ensure seamless execution, final testing, and "go-live" for all projects and campaigns.
- Map, record, and continuously improve processes and workflows.
Customer Service Excellence
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring fast, helpful, and professional support at all times.
Creative and Strategic Growth
- Proactively suggest new ideas for business growth and customer experience improvements.
- Participate in 1–2 focus meetings per week directly with the Founder for in-depth strategy and planning sessions.
Requirements
- Strong management experience with the ability to oversee and organize multiple team members and projects.
- Solid marketing and/or sales experience with a deep understanding of the customer journey from awareness to sale.
- Proven track record of taking projects from inception through to successful, final execution.
- Ability to independently generate ideas and solutions aligned with company goals.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Ideal but Not Required)
- SEO knowledge and implementation experience
- Website management and basic WordPress site-building skills.
- Video marketing and basic video editing skills.
- Social media marketing strategy and execution experience.
