We are seeking a creative and organized Remote Marketing Assistant to support our dental practice’s online presence. This fully remote position is ideal for someone who understands the dental patient journey and can translate it into engaging and educational content that strengthens our brand, builds trust, and attracts new patients.
Job Highlights
Hourly Rate: The equivalent of $4.3 USD per hour in the applicant’s local currency
Schedule:
9 am–6 pm PST with a 1-hour unpaid break; Monday through Friday
8 am–5 pm EST with a 1-hour unpaid break

Contract: Independent Contractor
This is a permanent work-from-home position as an Independent Contractor.
Selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection.
They will handle their own benefits and taxes.
Professional fees are hourly rates and depend on performance in the application process.
Responsibilities
- Create and schedule engaging content tailored to our dental services, patient education, team culture, and promotions across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, LinkedIn).
- Collaborate with in-office staff via Zoom, Slack, or email to collect content (patient stories, team updates, before-and-after images, etc.), ensuring all necessary consents and HIPAA guidelines are followed.
- Monitor and respond to social media engagement in a timely and professional manner to nurture relationships with our online community.
- Track social media performance using tools like Meta Business Suite or Later and deliver monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Stay current on social media trends, especially those relevant to healthcare, wellness, and dental aesthetics.
- Assist in executing promotional campaigns for key services such as whitening, Invisalign, implants, cosmetic upgrades, etc.
- Maintain a consistent and professional brand voice across all content.
- Graphic design capabilities are preferred.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing (preferably within healthcare, dental, or wellness sectors).
- Strong writing skills with the ability to communicate clinical topics in a clear, engaging, and approachable way.
- Proficient in Canva or similar tools for basic graphic and video content creation.
- Comfortable using social media scheduling platforms (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite).
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance in relation to patient privacy and social media.
- U.S.-based with availability during business hours for check-ins and collaboration.
- Experience with tracking and acting on marketing metrics.
- Familiarity with different marketing channels.
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience working with multi-location dental groups or specialty practices (pediatric, ortho, cosmetic).
- Familiarity with reputation management platforms like Swell, BirdEye, or Google Reviews.
- Knowledge of basic SEO and content marketing strategy.
- Video editing experience for Reels and TikTok.
