Technical Program Manager (AV Infrastructure)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract: Long-term (starting late January or early February)
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) contractor to manage Audio-Visual (AV) infrastructure projects. This role focuses on building out empty office spaces and handling the POP queue end-to-end—including reviewing requests, gathering information, creating AV Bills of Materials (BoMs), submitting purchase requests (PRs), and coordinating handoff to the delivery team.
You will work closely with internal teams, review floor plans, confirm dimensions, and ensure AV standards are applied. Most rooms follow standard AV setups, but some will require non-standard solutions. This is a remote role with no travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage POP queue end-to-end:
- Review requests and gather scope details.
- Create AV stream and BoM for requested setups.
- Submit PRs for approval and coordinate with vendors.
- Conduct handover meetings with delivery PMs.
- Validate room dimensions and confirm AV requirements.
- Apply AV standards; handle occasional non-standard setups.
- Use internal tools and CAD diagrams to interpret floor plans.
- Communicate updates and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work independently, prioritize tasks, and hit the ground running.
Requirements
- Program/Project Management experience (preferably in AV or IT infrastructure).
- AV infrastructure knowledge (understanding AV standards, equipment selection).
- Ability to interpret floor plans and CAD diagrams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with internal tools and processes.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with AV standards.
- Experience with PR submission and vendor coordination.
- Understanding of redesigns and AV upgrades.
