QA SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA SDET to support a mission-critical legacy-to-cloud migration in the healthcare space. This role focuses on building scalable automation frameworks, validating complex systems, and driving quality within a cloud-native Azure environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams on a digital transformation initiative impacting millions of users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using C# (.NET Core) and tools such as Playwright (preferred), Selenium, and Cypress.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
- Design and implement API test suites using Newman (preferred) or Postman.
- Conduct performance testing with JMeter (preferred) or Gatling.
- Apply BDD methodologies with Cucumber, Gherkin, or Reqnroll.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression tests throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support testing in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) within Azure cloud.
- Ensure code quality and coverage with SonarQube and Lint.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality, efficient solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of QA automation / SDET experience.
- Strong programming skills in C# with .NET Core.
- Expertise in at least one modern automation tool, with Playwright preferred (Selenium or Cypress also acceptable).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, with Azure DevOps preferred (Jenkins or GitHub Actions also acceptable).
- Skilled in API testing, with Newman preferred (Postman also acceptable).
- Familiar with performance testing, with JMeter preferred (Gatling also acceptable).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, with Azure preferred.
- Proficient with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin, Reqnroll).
- Strong understanding of code quality tools (SonarQube, Lint).
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the healthcare insurance industry.
- Exposure to AI-based platforms or applications.
- Experience with legacy system modernization or large-scale cloud migration projects.
- ISTQB or similar QA certification.
