Our healthcare client focused on kidney care and dialysis is reshaping the healthcare experience—starting with their doctors. They design intuitive desktop, web, and mobile applications to help physicians manage, treat, and improve patient care. In a space where healthcare IT often lags behind, they are committed to building user-centric tools that empower clinicians and drive better outcomes.
We're looking for a Senior UX Designer who thrives on complex challenges, brings deep design thinking, and is passionate about making a meaningful difference in healthcare.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate cross-functionally with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Technical Architects to identify and solve high-impact user challenges.
- Lead and contribute to the full product design lifecycle—from discovery and ideation through to execution and handoff.
- Champion user needs while balancing business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and ideation discussions with stakeholders at all levels.
- Create scalable, component-driven design systems using Figma and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior designers and act as a strategic voice in UX direction and design culture.
- Support both long-term UX visioning and agile day-to-day delivery within the SDLC.
- Conduct or support research activities, including user discovery and usability testing.
- Travel occasionally to collaborate in person with stakeholders and end users.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of UX design experience in complex or regulated industries (healthcare highly preferred).
- Exposure to designing digital products during the release of new drug therapies, ideally in dialysis or chronic/terminal care
- Experience in healthcare or designing for clinical/end-user workflows
- Strong background in Figma—from systems to scalable file structure and components.
- Experience with native iOS design and mobile-first thinking.
- Proven ability to translate complexity into elegant, user-centered design solutions.
- Strong communicator with the ability to present design concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring others, resolving design conflicts diplomatically, and building consensus.
- An understanding of how AI tools can enhance UX workflows and user efficiency.
- Familiarity with agile teams, Scrum processes, and working closely with development teams.
Bonus Points If You Have.
- Familiarity with Mixpanel, Pendo, or similar analytics tools.
- Background in conducting or supporting usability testing and applying results to design decisions.
