Overview
Brooksource is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer (.NET) to support one of our clients in the agriculture & energy solutions space. This opportunity is part of a Customer-Facing Custom Application product team that builds & maintains portals driving digital engagement. You’ll be joining a small, high-impact team focused on modernizing a Producer Portal & mobile applications for an upcoming December go-live. This role blends hands-on development, technical leadership, and mentoring, making it ideal for a strong engineer who enjoys both coding and guiding others. You’ll collaborate closely with business teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of custom web & mobile apps using .NET (C#) & Angular (TypeScript).
- Provide technical expertise to design, prototype, and implement solutions that are performant, scalable, and aligned to business goals.
- Mentor and provide guidance to a junior developer, promoting best practices and code quality.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate across disciplines — QA, BA, Scrum Master, Product Owner — to deliver functionality that supports customer and business needs.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying current with new technologies and recommending enhancements to the stack.
- Support mobile modernization efforts, transitioning from Ionic AppFlow to a new mobile framework.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and solution design discussions.
- Provide ad- hoc technical assistance & troubleshooting, with occasional after-hours support.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of full stack development, with a focus on .NET (C#) & Angular 16+ (TypeScript).
- Experience building and deploying mobile applications (Ionic AppFlow a plus).
- Proven experience mentoring developers and leading small teams.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum principles.
- Experience identifying/applying common design patterns & writing modular, maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical and visual detail.
- Excellent communication skills — comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders and translating technical language into business context.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments; knowledge of AWS Lambda preferred.
- Exposure to Python for automation or API development.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud deployment best practices.
- Experience with modern mobile frameworks beyond Ionic.
- Previous experience working in smaller agile teams with direct business interaction.
