Role Summary
Join our AI Engineering team to help design and build scalable, production-grade machine learning systems and intelligent services. You will work across the full software lifecycle to build robust AI features that integrate with existing platforms and services. This role offers the chance to influence architecture, improve ML reliability, and ship models and systems that operate at scale.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists and engineers to define requirements and deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
- Design, implement and maintain scalable model serving infrastructure, APIs and data pipelines suitable for production use.
- Develop, evaluate and optimize machine learning models and inference pipelines for performance, cost and reliability.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to code reviews, CI/CD practices and observability for AI systems.
- Refactor and harden existing systems to improve maintainability, resiliency and scalability.
- Drive best practices around data governance, model validation, monitoring and incident response.
- Mentor colleagues, share knowledge across the engineering organization and contribute to a culture of openness and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with significant exposure to machine learning projects.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow; familiarity with Java, Kotlin or Go is a plus.
- Experience building and deploying services on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong understanding of APIs, data modelling, distributed systems, caching and system design for large-scale services.
- Hands-on experience with model serving feature stores, data pipelines, and monitoring/observability tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and debugging in production environments.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, inclusive approach to problem solving.
