Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior QE / SDET Engineer with strong experience in Backbase platform testing, Selenium automation, and API validation for enterprise-level banking applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the banking domain, hands-on experience with C# automation frameworks, and deep knowledge of end-to-end functional and integration testing in a microservices environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive QA automation initiatives for Backbase-based banking applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with C# and Visual Studio IDE.
- Develop and execute API test automation using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar frameworks.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure CI/CD integration of automated test suites.
- Conduct Backbase widget and service-level testing, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
- Perform data validation and database testing (SQL queries, stored procedures).
- Identify, document, and track defects to closure, ensuring product quality and release readiness.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and review sessions.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and ensure QA best practices are followed.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation.
- Strong Banking Domain Experience — preferably in retail or digital banking platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Backbase platform testing (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Strong knowledge of C# and Visual Studio IDE (must-have).
- Experience with API testing (manual and automated).
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with SpecFlow, NUnit, or xUnit test frameworks.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Exposure to cloud environments (Azure or AWS).

- Must be available to work in PST hours.
