BridgeIQ builds ETRM/CTRM platforms, FIX integrations, and real-time systems that power trading desks across capital markets, commodities, and energy. The company covers the full technology stack behind a trade, including feed handlers, order execution, commercial hedging, and robust risk and reporting infrastructure, from desktop to the lowest-level hardware components. Founded in 2006 and based in Belgrade, BridgeIQ combines deep software engineering expertise with strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle. We are hiring people with deep understanding of data structures and algorithms who write elegant code. If you are a seasoned engineer who's built great products in the past, you'll fit right in. If you are fresh out of university but know your computer science and like to write code in your spare time, we'd love to work with you - that's how we all began.

This is a hybrid role. We like seeing each other in person but recognize that some people work better when isolated. We are practical and don't really have any rules except being kind to the people you work with, and always do the best job you can.

You will design, implement, and maintain back-end services that support trading platforms, integrations, and risk systems. Day-to-day work includes writing elegant, efficient, and testable code, reviewing peer code, and troubleshooting production issues to ensure low-latency and high-reliability. These roles frequently involve collaborating with other engineers and domain experts to translate trading and risk requirements into scalable technical solutions. You will also participate in architectural discussions, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of existing services and tools.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Software Engineering, including data structures, algorithms, and systems concepts. During the interview we will ask you to write a data structure or an algorithm.
• Ability to think in terms of orthogonal features and composability.
• Mastery of any of the following programming languages: Python, TypeScript, C#, Java, C++ or Rust.
