Summary

We’re hiring an Email Graphic Designer who thrives at the intersection of design, storytelling, and performance marketing. This role is about more than making emails look beautiful — it’s about creating campaigns and flows that convert, educate, and inspire action. You’ll collaborate with CRM, creative, and copy teams to deliver emails that are visually striking, strategically structured, and optimized for engagement. From welcome flows to campaign blasts, you’ll own the design process end-to-end: concept, build, testing, and performance refinement.

Key Responsibilities

• Email Creative & Execution
• Design and build responsive, mobile-first email templates for campaigns, flows, and transactional comms
• Translate briefs into layouts that balance copy, imagery, and CTAs for maximum impact
• Incorporate GIFs, motion, and lightweight animations to drive engagement
• Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints

Strategy & Optimization

• Collaborate with CRM and copywriting teams on lifecycle flows (welcome, cart abandonment, win-back, post-purchase)
• Run A/B tests on CTAs, and layouts to drive continuous performance improvements Analyze metrics (CTR, open rates, conversions) and use insights to refine future creative
• Follow deliverability and accessibility best practices
• Collaboration & Storytelling
• Partner with paid, social, and product teams to ensure email aligns with cross-channel launches
• Present creative concepts with clear rationale and data-driven reasoning
• Tell brand stories that make wellness approachable, human, and motivating

Innovation & Growth

• Stay ahead of CRM and design trends, experimenting with new layouts, interactive features, and storytelling formats
• Pitch creative tests and proactively suggest design improvements to boost performance

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, or Communications (or equivalent experience)
• 3–5 years in email design (DTC, health/wellness, or lifestyle brand experience preferred)
• Portfolio demonstrating story-driven, conversion-focused email campaigns

Preferred

• Proficiency in Klaviyo, Iterable, Braze, or similar platforms
• Strong Figma and Adobe Creative Suite skills; ability to produce motion assets
• Understanding of UX, ADA compliance, and mobile-first design
• Comfort with basic HTML for email
• Familiarity with copy hierarchy, scannability, and CTA placement
• Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit for extended periods of time at a desk and working on a computer

Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via virtual meeting

Ability to maintain focus in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels

Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and arms, such as typing.
