Senior .NET Developer

£50,000 – £90,000 + benefits | 100% Remote (UK)

Payments | POS | mPOS | Core Services Team

We’re working with an established payments company that’s growing its engineering team. They’re looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join their Services Team, helping to design and build the services that power their payment applications, POS, and mPOS solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work on high-scale systems, modern architectures, and cloud platforms, all while shaping the future of their payments technology.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and developing back-end services using .NET Core
• Building and maintaining microservices that integrate into core payment platforms
• Working with Azure cloud infrastructure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, etc.)
• Supporting CI/CD and DevOps best practices across the team
• Collaborating with product and engineering colleagues to deliver scalable, secure services

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with .NET Core / C#
• Solid background in microservices architecture
• Experience with Azure (App Services, Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc.)
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerisation)
• Background in payments, fintech, or high-scale transactional systems is needed.
