Who You Are

As a Web Designer/Developer, you will create sites with the art of design and development. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining websites for our clients, ensuring optimal functionality, user experience, and performance.

Responsibilities and Skills

Website Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into functional and visually appealing websites.
Front-End Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other modern web technologies to enhance the user experience across various devices and browsers.
E-commerce Platform Integration: Implement, customize, and maintain e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento) to enable seamless online shopping experiences, including product listings, shopping carts, checkout processes, and payment gateways.
Back-End Development: Design and develop server-side functionality, databases, and APIs to support e-commerce features such as inventory management, order processing, customer accounts, and personalized recommendations.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website performance, page loading times, and responsiveness to ensure smooth navigation and a positive user experience.
Security and Data Privacy: Implement robust security measures to protect user data, including SSL certificates, secure payment processing, and adherence to relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
UI/UX Enhancement: Continuously improve the website's user interface and user experience through iterative design and development, incorporating user feedback and industry best practices.
Content Management: Collaborate with content teams to integrate and manage product information, images, descriptions, and other relevant content on the website.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of website functionality, identifying and resolving issues to ensure a bug-free and smooth user experience.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and configurations for future reference and team collaboration.
Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest e-commerce trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure our platform remains competitive and innovative.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
4+ years of experience in either Wordpress, Wix, or Shopify
Proven experience (5+ Years) as a Website Developer, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento, including theme customization and plugin development.
Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages and frameworks (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js) and database systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code deployment best practices.
Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and a demonstrated ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Experience with performance optimization techniques and tools to ensure fast-loading and efficient websites.
Knowledge of security best practices, including data protection and secure payment processing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
