Sr Product/UX Designer (UXR + UX Design)

Job description

We’re seeking a Senior Product/UX Designer with strong expertise spanning both UX Research and UX Design to help shape digital experiences that improve healthcare access and engagement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing within content management systems (CMS) and a passion for simplifying complex healthcare information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UX process across research, design, and validation for web and digital products.
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to uncover insights that drive design decisions.
• Translate research findings into user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and content teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Work within the constraints of an existing Content Management System (CMS) — balancing usability, flexibility, and technical limitations.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and high-quality delivery.
• Advocate for user-centered design within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with a proven ability to span research and design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX design process, from discovery to execution.
• Healthcare experience required; Medicare-related experience is a strong plus.
• Deep understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Experience designing within CMS environments — Sitecore XM experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Axure, Adobe XD).
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to present research insights and design rationale.
• U.S.-based; familiarity with healthcare compliance and accessibility standards (HIPAA, WCAG) preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with analytics tools and A/B testing to validate design decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
