Sr Product Lead (Merchant Onboarding Automation)

Job Description

• Pay rate: $120/hr
• 1099 Contract Length: 6 months
• Remote: USA based candidates

What you'll be working on

• Design and implement a streamlined digital merchant acquisition and funding portal (Our core technologies are Salesforce (CRM) and its integrated Funding application.)
• Create an end-to-end automated merchant qualification and funding workflow
• Develop a frictionless application experience comparable to top fintech platforms
• Integrate advanced automation and AI technologies into the merchant onboarding process

Responsibilities

• Lead UI/UX design and engineering efforts for merchant onboarding platform
• Reduce human intervention in qualified merchant funding cases
• Optimize conversion rates from applicant to funded merchant
• Develop deep integrations with Salesforce and Fundingo systems
• Implement AI-assisted design workflows using tools like Uizard and Framer AI
• Design systems to enable same-day funding (within hours or minutes)
• Continuously analyze and improve application speed and approval processes
• Create metrics and dashboards to track onboarding performance

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in fintech product development
• Strong background in digital product design and user experience
• Expertise in automation and workflow optimization
• Proven track record of reducing friction in digital application processes
• Proficiency in UI/UX design tools and AI design assistants
• Experience with CRM and financial software integrations
• Core APIs: PLAID, Experian, OpenCorporates, Datamerch, PayNet, MoneyThumb, TLO
• Strong technical and product management skills
