Projects typically last 6-18 months and are collaborative as a matter of course – both with other Pyyne engineers and the client's technical and business stakeholders.

About The Job

Pyyne is expanding our engineering partnership with one of the US's largest Private Equity firms. We are seeking a team of Senior Data Analysts capable of building and maintaining the critical data infrastructure and interpreting the data and presenting actionable insights to stakeholders.This is a highly collaborative role with a strong analytical component. The right candidate has experience in the Microsoft Data stack, as well as a strong interest in going beyond infrastructure and data processing to rigorously fact-check and identify inconsistencies.

This is a unique opportunity with exposure to non-technical stakeholders seeking straightforward answers to questions about business-critical data.

Must Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics with strong data engineering foundations.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen 2, Databricks (database/warehouse design), and SQL Server.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark
• Experience with ETL orchestration tools (Databricks Workflows, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, etc.).
• Expertise in REST APIs, web services, and data quality validation.
• Strong analytical skills with a meticulous approach to data accuracy.

• Effective communication in English: Can explain technical choices clearly and diplomatically resolve disagreements.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Regularly works with stakeholders, technical and nontechnical, to build high-impact solutions and translate complex business needs into structured, scalable data models
• Results mindset: Thinks beyond the code—deeply invested in data quality and supporting critical decisionmaking

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineer, or related is preferred
• Experience: 5+ years of Data and Software experience
