Role description
As part of the Dropbox Campaign & Migration Operations team, the Marketing Operations Manager will manage the marketing automation platform (Iterable) and related processes, technology, and workflows.
The right candidate has a hands-on approach, feels comfortable building and optimising programs in Iterable, and has experience managing operational aspects of the platform, such as database management and email compliance.
This role involves a combination of strategic and operational initiatives, and the Marketing Operations Manager will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales and IT partners to understand business requirements and translate them into action, optimising processes related to lead scoring and lead management.
Responsibilities
What you’ll be working on
- Own end-to-end creation, deployment and maintenance of transactional email and notification campaigns across global markets that engage millions of users.
- Project manage a programme from strategy, creation, experimentation, execution and reporting.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and governance of the marketing automation platform (Iterable), including database hygiene, data standardization and enrichment, email deliverability, and integrations
- Assist key business partners in measuring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and marketing automation programs
- Create documentation and training material that guides stakeholders on the setup and use of Iterable
- Collaborate with marketing teams, sales and sales operations globally to determine and evolve marketing automation best practices
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize the use of the marketing automation platform, improving user engagement and overall marketing performance
Skills
- Experience in building and executing email campaigns
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in marketing operations, preferably B2B
- Proficiency with Iterable, and sytems it integrates with such as Segment is preferred
- Tech savviness - hands on experience with marketing automation platforms, event platforms, CRMs as well as other sales and marketing tools
- Passion for Marketing Operations - always looking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Marketing through people, processes and technology
- Logical thinking and process driven - ability to design workflows, update processes, and solve complex issues
- Collaboration - Ability to manage stakeholders and work with cross-functional teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field
- Certification in MarTech systems highly valued
