Job Summary:**
As the Master Data Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of master data within Bowman Andros. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of our master data, which includes product information, customer data, vendor details, Andros MDM, and other relevant information.
Additionally, you will partner with our Global data warehouse team to build and sustain a North America business data repository for effective analytics and decision making.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective strategies, policies, and procedures for master data management, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and data governance standards.
- Oversee the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across multiple systems and platforms, including ERP, local business systems, and Andros common foundation systems.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Industrial, and others to understand data requirements and establish data quality standards.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices, including data access controls, data quality monitoring, and data cleansing activities.
- Perform data analysis and identify data quality issues, working closely with business users and IT teams to resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
- Monitor data entry processes and provide training and support to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data management processes, procedures, and guidelines.
- Lead and manage a team of data owners and specialists, providing guidance, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with business leaders and the Global data warehouse team to build data repositories for business analytics, metrics, and reporting.
- Gather and analyze data from multiple systems and sources. Identify the purpose and value to populate in the data warehouse and overall benefit to business analytics.
- Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in master data management within the CPG industry, with a solid understanding of product data, customer data, and vendor management processes.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in working with data management tools, ERP and Industrial business systems.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills, able to identify data issues and recommend solutions.
- Experience leading and managing a team, providing guidance and mentorship.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Working Environment & Physical Demands:**
- Normal office environment and sedentary work. This position will sit 50% of the time, and stand/walk 50% of the time.
- The physical activity of this position requires the ability to use hands, arms, and fingers for repetitive motions (typing on computer terminal, manipulating documents).
