Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through strategic marketing initiatives. This role combines creativity with data-driven planning to design and execute campaigns that support the company’s sales and growth objectives. Essential Functions
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and attract new clients within the Seattle region and beyond.
Create compelling content for social media, email campaigns, blog posts, case studies, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with the sales team to support lead generation efforts with tailored campaigns, nurturing content, and promotional collateral.
Manage the company’s website, ensuring content is fresh, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
Plan, coordinate, and attend events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and capture leads.
Analyze performance metrics and marketing data to adjust strategies and improve ROI.
Maintain and grow the company's social media presence on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and strategies.
Maintain accurate records of marketing campaigns, budgets, and performance results in marketing CRM systems.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B or service-based environment
Strong copywriting and editing skills, with a sharp eye for detail and brand tone
Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as email platforms, social media schedulers, and analytics software
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools
Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Background or interest in horticulture, interiorscapes, or biophilic design
Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools
Experience managing or contributing to SEO and PPC campaigns
Photography and/or video editing skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
Occasionally required to visit client locations or attend outdoor events
Visual acuity for evaluating marketing materials, digital designs, and brand aesthetics
Working Conditions
Primarily an office-based role with occasional site visits or event participation
