The Marketing Assistant will be an integral part of the marketing team, responsible for performing audits on digital marketing channels, updating website content, managing digital assets, and optimizing Google Business Profiles. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual who enjoys repetitive marketing tasks and has excellent time-management skills. While creative design experience is not required, the ability to edit photos and video content is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Populate and manage the Digital Asset System (DAM) for approximately 40 properties.
- Organize and tag marketing materials (photos, videos, logos) to ensure accessibility.
- Perform minor photo and video editing to meet brand standards.
- Serve as the primary content librarian, ensuring an efficient digital asset structure.
- Continuously optimize the DAM taxonomy to improve usability.
- Audit advertising sites (Apartments.com, Zillow.com, ApartmentList.com, etc.), local business listings (Google Business Profile, Yelp), and property websites.
- Verify and update key details such as: Pricing and availability, Concessions and specials, Photography, floorplans, and property descriptions, Office hours, pet policy, parking, and amenities, Site maps and area directions
- Audit all active lead tracking phone numbers and email addresses.
- Call phone numbers to confirm they route correctly to the property.
- Submit test leads via email to ensure correct attribution in the lead management system.
- Make content updates and edits on property websites.
- Perform weekly audits for new units published on property websites and listing services.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles with current concessions, images, and FAQs.
- Upload marketing assets (videos, images, graphics) into the Digital Asset Marketing tool.
- Assist the team with general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, including: Media Valet (Digital Asset Management tool), Yardi RentCafe / SiteManager, Google Business Profile, WordPress (Website CMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Website content management systems (CMS).
- Knowledge of digital marketing sources and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and excellent time management skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
